Please pray for Caleb and Dad as they leave for Honduras in three days! They're doing work in a birthing clinique for six days on the building Then, for fourdays they'll be hiking up in the mountains to a tribe that has never heard the gospel or even the name Jesus, and they have the privilage of sharing the gospel with them. They have a three way interpreter, so the message may become unclear. Pray that the trip will go smoothly and pray for the people of La Hoya, Honduras.

This topic may seem strange as the first post, and may sound a bit "preachy", that is not at all my intent. I just think that this passage of Scripture is an awesome theme that we as Christians must constantly remind ourselves that we are worse off than we can ever imagine, and that in Christ we can actually do something with our lives that is not void and pointless.

"And He said to all, 'If anyone would come after me, let him deny himself and take up His cross daily and follow me. For whoever would save his life will lose it, but whover loses his life for my sake will save it. For what does it profit a man if he gains the whole world and loses or forfeits himself? For whoever is ashamed of me and of my words, of him will the Son of Man be ashamed when He comes in His glory and the glory of the Father and of the holy angels'." Luke 9:23-26

May the Lord bless you,
Lauren
